This year the Aedit Awards are given to the illustrator Blanca BK and the journalist and writer Antón Castro, with a special mention to the recently deceased editor Charles Mérigot.

Since 2018, Aedit, the trade association that brings together nearly fifty publishing houses from Aragon, has awarded the Aedit Awards, in recognition of the work of people and entities in different facets related to the world of books, their production and their circulation. The prizes will be awarded next June 10th, coinciding with the celebration in Zaragoza and Huesca of the Book Fair.

In the category of "Professional career", related to various projects of the publishing process, the winners so far have been the printer Francisco Ortiz, the designer Fernando Lasheras and the writer Ánchel Conte. The jury appointed by Aedit has decided to award the prize to the illustrator from Zaragoza, Blanca BK.

In addition to the quality of her work (characterized by a sharp and impressive stroke, very personal, which conveys a lot of sensitivity) the jury has also considered her commitment to many projects inside and outside our autonomous community. Blanca BK has illustrated close to one hundred books.
