'Todo va a mejorar,' the posthumous novel by Almudena Grandes about the "political drift" during the pandemic.

Almudena Grandes left one last literary gift to her faithful readers before she died on November 27, 2021, at the age of 61. Shortly before cancer took her life, she gave the Tusquets publishing house a novel that kept her "whole" while she was unsuccessfully fighting this disease.

The author herself revealed it in the most complicated article of her life, published on October 9 in El País, in which she revealed that she had been "fighting" cancer for a year. "During all this process, I have been writing a novel that has helped me as much as my treatment. Now I need to give it back everything it has given me, lock myself up with it, pamper it, finish it, correct it," she stressed.
