The aid is also intended to encourage actions that promote equal opportunities to access books by population groups with challenges.

The Ministry of Culture and Sports has opened today, June 1, the term for the submission of applications, in a competitive concurrence procedure, to finance activities to promote reading and literature in Spanish.

The grants are endowed with a total of 3.6 million Euros. The beneficiaries of this aid are private foundations, associations, and NGOs (non-profit organizations) that do not belong to the public sector. In addition, and as a novelty of the 2022 call, private companies and municipalities may also request this aid.
