"Paranoica fierita" is not just another novel for its author, Miguel Ángel Maya León, who confesses that he has worked on it for years, polishing it until it became the little gem it finally is.

It is a brief but deeply tense work, where the reader can enter a borderline universe through which a girl is dragged, first by her mother and then by a strange old pianist, in an escape with no apparent destination.
