The call for grants from Iberbibliotecas 2022 is open until June 5

The Iberbibliotecas 2022 call for grants will host projects with a gender equality perspective, attention to diversity, and the inclusion of vulnerable groups.

Until June 5th, 2022, the call for grants will be open - within the framework of the Ibero-American Program of Public Libraries Iberlibraries - aimed at public and community libraries of member countries and cities. The objective is to recognize and consolidate public and community libraries as spaces with free access to information and reading, to work for social inclusion and to contribute to qualifying education and development.

With this tenth edition, the call for aid celebrates ten years of supporting the development of innovative library projects throughout Ibero-America, during which time more than 2 million USD have been collected to strengthen public, community, and popular libraries in the region.

Iberbibliotecas is led by the Ibero-American General Secretariat, SEGIB, and is coordinated by the Regional Center for the Promotion of Books in Latin America and the Caribbean, CERLALC, as a Technical Unit.
