'Letras Americanas,' by the Mexican writer Emiliano Monge, will explore the news from Río Bravo to Tierra del Fuego every 15 days.

This week EL PAÍS America will launch a newsletter on literature.  The Mexican writer, Emiliano Monge, a regular contributor to the newspaper, will oversee this project.

'Letras Americanas' and Monge will travel together with readers to as many territories as possible, "territories that go from the Rio Bravo to Tierra del Fuego—and its traditions, without becoming a schoolroom class," as stated by the author in the presentation to subscribers.

‘Letras Americanas’ will be published every 15 days and will also serve as a kind of menu to help those who join "walk through the various groups and subgroups of literary Latin America, without forgetting, of course, that books challenge us and change not only our reasoning, but also our emotions,” says Monge.
