The used book market on the internet generated more than 9.8 million Euros in 2021.

The sale of used books on the internet is experiencing a considerable economic boom. Last year, the offer grew by 8% compared to 2020. In addition, it generated a value of more than 9.8 million Euros with more than 354,000 published ads. These are figures taken from the study carried out by Milanuncios, analyzing the used book market in 2021.

The results obtained reveal that the book has become part of the circular economy, that the Internet is promoting a new form of mass consumption and that, in short, it is a booming market.

Novels increase in demand. The sale of used novels generated more than 456,000 Euros in 2021 in terms of market volume. And it is that, in the last year, the interest in novels has risen notably to 42% of searches.
