World Intellectual Property Day 2022 focuses on innovation and youth as a point of progress.

Today, activities have been held on the occasion of World Intellectual Property Day, which this year has as its motto: "Intellectual and industrial property and youth: innovate for a better future."

Every April 26th, this date is commemorated, which was chosen by the Member States of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) (OMPI in Spanish) of which Spain has been a member since its inception.

The Ministry of Culture and Sports, competent in the defense and protection of intellectual property rights, is actively involved in these activities.
