Inside the publisher: Manuel Borrás from Pre-Textos.

Manuel Borrás, editor at Pre-Textos and Gold Medal for Merit in Fine Arts 2016, wanted to tell Publishnews first-hand why this publishing house is a "common home" for many writers.

Borrás tells us why Pre-Textos is a home to publish and a place to enjoy editing.

The Pre-Textos publishing house was founded in Valencia in 1976 and since its inception it has offered the reader of the Spanish language both the essential titles of literature, as well as the works of new young talent.

At Publishnews we wanted to know how the idea of ??setting up this publishing house came about, which in 1997 was awarded the National Prize for Best Editorial Work.  In 2008 with the FIL Prize in Guadalajara (Mexico), and in 2009, as Publishers of the Year, as well as the FIL of Lima (Peru). These are not the only awards that Manuel Borrás treasures, since he has won many others at a national and local level for the design of his books and in recognition of his cultural work.
