CEDRO continues with its commendable work of helping and favoring the publishing system.
Cedro has signed an action protocol with the National Library of Spain (BNE) to collaborate on certain projects aimed at strengthening intellectual property and the legal use of the content of authors and publishers of books and periodicals.
Among the projects, the BNE and CEDRO will collaborate technologically to fight against editorial piracy, will work on joint and supportive solutions to facilitate legal access for citizens, among others, to non-commercial works, in line with what is established in the directives on copyright in the digital unique market. In addition, they will cooperate to improve data management to increase efficiency in the processes of both entities and provide BNE workers with knowledge on intellectual property.
