Interview with creative publishers: Flamboyant

Flamboyant, a publishing house, that not only publishes, but creates titles to awaken the imagination, artistic sensitivity, and personal growth of children.

A few days ago, the International Children and Young Adult Literature Day took place and we, at Publishnews, want to celebrate it with offers from the Barcelona publisher, Flamboyant. Eva Jiménez and Patricia Martín met years ago working together at a literary agency. At first, they wanted to set up a bookstore, but after analyzing the costs it would entail, they decided they would still have better luck with a publishing house, and opted to publish books for the children genre, which at that time (2009) was not exploited.

Their mission, as they themselves say, is "to contribute to the development and intellectual wealth of children through the creation of quality works that awaken their imagination and artistic sensitivity, foster their empathy, enrich their points of view and help in their personal growth.”
