History is the most important value a nation can possess. It is the roadmap that guides and directs the life of a community, and the history of Spain is its territory.
In this sense, the researcher, Ángel Pradel Alfaro, has used the stage of the reconquest of Al-Andalus in his work: "La Reconquista de España."
The process of reconquering, in the Iberian Peninsula, the enormous space seized from the Visigoth dynasty, first by the Arabs of the Umayyad family, and later by the Almoravid and Almohad ethnic groups, constitutes a historical milestone in the future of Spain.
Ángel Pradel Alfaro was born in Madrid in 1937. After finishing school, he entered, by competitive examination, in the Cuerpo de Contadores del Tribunal de Cuentas, (Corps of Accountants of the Court of Accounts), in 1957. He has a degree in Economic Sciences from the Universidad Complutense.
