The Marcial Pons publishing house, one of the publishers awarded with this prize, is happy. Enrique Pascual Pons, Managing Director of the publishing house and President of the Guild of Bookshops in Madrid, was given the medal on March 2nd.

The Marcial Pons publishing house was founded in 1990 with the aim to offer editions of high scientific value and curated editing, focusing on the translation into Spanish of the best international concepts and introducing instructional currents in Spain that have influenced subsequent national and Latin American law schools.  With nearly 1,000 titles, they publish in Spain, Argentina, and Brazil.

Marcial Pons Ediciones de Historia was created in the year 2000. Both editorial lines, Law and History, have established themselves as essential in the academic and professional world. It exemplifies a Spanish family publishing house with an international vocation and whose indisputable principle is quality. Added to this is the Marcial Pons Bookstore, which was founded in 1948 and which has received, among others, the gold medal for Merit at Work.
