The noir and police genre is that type of literature that always has material from which to draw. It is rare, if not impossible, for someone not to have read a story with a criminal backdrop.

From Edgar Allan Poe, to Arthur Conan Doyle and his famous character Sherlock Holmes, to present days, with famous authors such as Eva García Sáenz de Urturi and her Kraken.  Many have been the writers who have relied on the crime genre to tell stories of characters that create a following.

Among the new additions to the world of criminal literature appears, and with great impetus, Jorge Sevillano. The writer from Madrid is also a criminologist who has experienced the many angles of criminal investigation. From his real vision of the murders, having the experience of being present in many criminal scenarios and having studied the human mind, he infuses this raw criminal reality into his writing style.
