From Publishnews we started a section of “Books for the weekend,” in order to delve into all literary genres and categories, whether they are deep works or more light reading to enjoy, making it a weekend full of literature and learning.
We close February with this section of “Books for the weekend”, in which we have chosen: narrative, LIJ, essay, poetry, theater, non-fiction and comics.
Novel for the weekend: "Yo, Tituba, la bruja negra de Salem" (Impedimenta)
Winner of the Grand Prix Littéraire de la Femme. Maryse Condé, Alternative Nobel Prize for Literature, offers us a harrowing story, as real as it is dark, in which she brings to the table issues such as slavery, violence, female desire, superstition and innocence.
