The International Federation of Library Associations (IFLA) awards the annual Best Public Library Award. The deadline for submitting applications is April 29th.
The three qualities that new public libraries around the world will need in order to be eligible to win the final prize are: functional architecture, IT innovations, and promotion of local culture. The library must have been built between January 1st and December 31st, 2021.
Awarded by the International Federation of Library Associations (IFLA), the award brings together jurors from Denmark, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Australia, and France, with Mathilde Servet, being responsible for "innovative services" of the library’s network of the capital city. Applications opened February 14th and will close on April 29th.
