Penguin Random House falls 7% and the rest of publishers 2.5% compared to the previous week in the Publishnews–Nielsen Spain list as of February 6th, 2022. Women are at the forefront of the best-selling fiction.
Planeta continues to increase its publishing sales to the detriment of the Penguin Random House group. The Publishnews–Nielsen best-seller list as of February 6th, 2022, shows how the PRH group drops 7% and the rest 2.5%. Fiction continues to be the bulk of sales with 45% compared to 17.5% for non-fiction. The children and young adult genre is maintained.
Among the best-selling fiction books, at number one this week is “El Libro Negro de las Horas,” by Eva García Saenz de Urturi, followed by “Violeta,” by Isabel Allende, which continues to unseat “La Bestia,” by Carmen Mola, from the top position. It is followed by “Ultimos días en Berlin,” “La cuenta atrás para el verano,” by La Vecina Rubia and “Una historia ridícula,” by Luis Landero. Following are: “Nunca,” “Nosostros en la luna,” “Las formas del querer”, “El italiano,” “Anhelo,” and “El valle de los arcángeles,” among others.
