Liber, the International Book Fair promoted by the Federation of Publishers Guilds in Spain (FGEE), relaunches their illustration contest to select the graphic image for the next edition, scheduled October 5th-7th, 2022, at Fira de Barcelona.

As a requirement to participate in this contest, the participants must be members of at least one of the entities that make up the Federation of Associations of Professional Illustrators (FADIP) and present work that celebrates books and the promotion of reading.

This is the second time that Liber has called for entries in an illustration contest to find the image of the show and, after the great acceptance shown in 2021, it was decided to continue the tradition. The objective of this initiative is to recognize talent in the field of illustration and give visibility to the important link of this discipline with this art and the publishing world. Last year the Valencian illustrator Irene Blasco was the winner of the contest with a design that showed a reader in total connection with the universe created by reading.
