After the break in the publication of new reading material, the bookstores select the books of the month.
“Las librerías recomiendan:” Among the selected authors are Maryse Condé, Maxim Ósipov, the literary debut of Virginia Feito, the return of the linguist Noam Chomsky, the musician Santiago Auserón, children authors Jon Klassen and Lauren Child and comics Carlos Trillo and Alberto Breccia.
After an excellent Christmas campaign and a break in the publication of new material, the first editorial works of 2022 are beginning to arrive in bookstores.
More than 150 independent bookstores have participated in the process of selecting and voting for the most outstanding books among the new material received up until January 25th, and they recommend a selection for all audiences and genres, with narrative, essay, children and young adults, as well as comics.
