On Saturday, January 29th, 2022, a unique premiere took place in Spain: the I SPANISH MEETING OF LITERARY AUTHORS, which brought together in the bright city of Alicante,
one hundred and thirty attendees (among them fifty novelists, poets, screenwriters, audiovisual producers, librarians and literature professors from Spain, Europe and the Americas), who presented their respective works and creative projects to all the guests.
The event, held with the support of the Commissioner of Culture from Alicante, Antonio Manresa, and convoked and organized by the journalist and writer, Manuel Avilés Gómez (author of the successful fictionalized noir genre chronicle, “De Prisiones, Putas y Pistolas,” and other works, published by Editorial Alrevés in 2021), began with an emotional tribute to Olga Avellán, author of “Mi mamá no tiene pelo,” who died suddenly days before the event. The meeting then lasted more than four hours and served for authors and readers to share works, anecdotes, experiences, and useful information.
