According to Publishnews – Nielsen Spain fiction sales went up in the best seller list during the second week of January 2022. Most of them, as always, belong to the two largest groups in Spain: Penguin Random House and Planeta.

The Publishnews – Nielsen best-seller list for the second week of January 2022 shows a great role for fiction books in the publishing market, we are talking about 48.50% compared to 17.50% for non-fiction. The children and young adult genre is reaching adult fiction, with 28%. The turnover is divided, as almost always, between the two large groups: Penguin Random House (down from 41.81% to 36.69) and Planeta, which remains at around 42%; the rest of publishers rose 5% compared to last week.

Among the best-selling fiction books, La bestia continues to lead, followed by Paloma Sánchez-Garnica, with Últimos días en Berlín.
