ICEX, España Exportación e Inversiones announces a new edition of the New Spanish Books project and invites interested Spanish agents and publishers to participate.

New Spanish Books is a project that aims to sell translation rights of Spanish publishers and literary agents in foreign markets through Internet portals in Germany, Brazil, the United States, France, Japan, and the United Kingdom, aimed at foreign professionals from the publishing sector. For each of the countries, books in the genres indicated in the "How to participate" section will be accepted. The publication of the portals of the 2022 edition will take place in September.

In the portals of New Spanish Books all participating books are included along with an information sheet. In addition, in each of the countries, and coordinated by our Economic and Commercial Offices of Spain abroad, a group of independent experts, made up of translators, booksellers, editors and critics of esteemed reputation, make a selection among those of 10-20 titles that they consider more suitable for the market in their particular country. This selection is published on the home page of each of the portals.
