The Madrid Libraries Guild has chosen Eva Orué to be the Ddirector of the Madrid Book Fair. With it, a new period is inaugurated that spans from 2022 to 2024.
As a legal and organizational entity of the Book Fair, the Madrid Libraries Guild began a selection process on November 12th that culminated in the election of the journalist Eva Orué (Zaragoza, 1962) as the new Director, a position that will be held starting next January 1st, 2022.
She was born on the opening day of the Fair, at the end of May, already destined to take office. She is qualified by thirty years of journalistic career, since she started with Luis del Olmo in Barcelona, later as a correspondent and upon her return to Spain and after being in Onda Cero, she founded in 2006 her own communications company which we have closely followed all these years, “Ingenio de Comunicación.”
