We already published it in Publishnews: A total of 15 bookstores were opting for the 2021 Cultural Library Prize, organized by the Spanish Federation of Booksellers Guilds and Associations (CEGAL), in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and Sports, through the General Management of Books and Reading.
Of these 15, it has been Tipos Infames, based in Madrid, the one to win this award.
A modern classic: This is how the Madrid bookstore has called the project that has made it the winner of the 2021 Cultural Library Award; an award that recognizes the continuous task of cultural revitalization and the promotion of books and reading.
With a space of 120 square meters, a cafeteria and wine bar, with an exhibition space in the basement, in addition to intense activity and influence in the digital field, the Tipos Infames project has stood out for championing the classic values ??of a bookstore (care and selection, customer service and memberships), but with a clear up-to-date approach, as a meeting and leisure place, and of added value to the sale of books, as well as future projections.
