For the second year, Efímera Librería Pop-up is being held. An initiative that began in December 2019 and that, despite the circumstances experienced by COVID, remains alive this year 2021, after a more than understandable hiatus last year.
On Saturday, December 11th, and only for one day, Efímera Librería pop-up returns, with more than 40 independent publishing projects from all over Spain. An initiative of the Asociación Cultural Efímera Acción Literaria created to lessen the difficulty of independent and emerging bookstores and publishers (and micro-publishers) to participate in the great national fairs dedicated to literature.
What is Efímera?
Efímera Acción Literaria is a non-profit association that promotes culture, books in this case, independently. In just two years, they have managed to get 40 or more independent publishers, little known in different sectors of the population or even among publishing colleagues, to get to know each other, create networks and support each other. Through this medium we have talked about them about their work and the activity they carried out for La Noche de los Libros of this year.
