The publisher from within: Editorial Graviola

We spoke with the editors of Graviola, an independent publisher, born in Spain, committed to the dissemination of voices that emigrate from Latin America.

The three editors believe in artistic expression, cultural diversity, and new platforms as essential elements to reduce distances and differences. From Graviola literature is proposed as a bridge.

Editorial Graviola arises after several years of joint and multidisciplinary work between us (Virgilio, Abraham and Daniel); editing each other, illustrating each other's texts with photography and collage, finding other people to collaborate with and make pieces of, jointly organizing events and artistic projects.

In the summer of 2019, after ending an online art magazine that we had, still wanting to continue creating and sharing, we felt the need to create a platform from which we could actively contribute our vision and our needs: represent Latin American migrant voices, new to the country, to the culture and to the publishing world, who told stories that crossed cultural barriers but did not lose their identity voice in any way and did not sacrifice certain literary values ??to fit into the market of large publishers. And, thus, create with them a reading experience that goes beyond the final period.
