February 2nd is the date chosen for the launch of Eva G. Sáenz de Urturi's new thriller, "El libro negro de las horas,” where the Basque author brings back her most mythical character, the former inspector Kraken.
Editorial Planeta hopes it will be its great launch for next year, and two million readers will be grateful.
"El libro negro de las horas" is the last installment in the saga that started in 2016 with “El silencio de la ciudad blanca,” which was followed by “Los ritos del agua” and “Los señores del tiempo.” A bestseller since its publication, the trilogy has more than 100 editions, and has been published in more than twenty countries, such as the USA, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Mexico, Argentina and Brazil, and a film adaptation directed by Daniel Calparoso.
In 2012, the author published her first novel, “La saga de los longevos,” a stunner of criticism and sales, and in 2014 the second installment, Los Niños de Adán, as well as the historical novel Pasaje a Tahiti.
