There is non-stop activity in the International Historical Novel Contest "Ciudad de Úbeda" (CINH).
As customary, it began on Sunday at 9:30 a.m. with the presentation from writer David Gómez, who presented his debut film “Fuego sobre Igueriben”, which is set during the war conflict that Spain maintained with Morocco, very significant in the history of our country, and which is celebrating its centenary.
Then, at 10:15 a.m. Juan Pedro Cosano presented his novel "El rey del Peru," based on the aventures of Gonzalo Pizarro, Francisco's younger brother, a bastard like him, who accompanied his brother on his expedition to America in 1531, the beginning of the conquest of Peru.
At 11:00 a.m. José Ángel Mañas, on his first visit to the literary event, presented Pelayo!, which the author defines as the true story of Pelayo and his brave Astures who began the most extraordinary of adventures: taking back Spain.
