Lovers of reading and bibliographic jewels have a not-to-miss event in Madrid November 25th to 28th . The Iberian Association of Antiquarian Bookstores (AILA) organizes, in collaboration with the Guild of Madrid of booksellers of Viejo, the XII International Antique Book Fair, which will take place in the exceptional setting of the 'Galería de Cristal' (Crystal Gallery) of the Palacio de Cibeles, headquarters of the Madrid City Council; the main objective is the promotion of the documented and bibliographic wealth of our culture.
The fair, which has been organized biannually since 1992, will be attended by a total of 27 Spanish and foreign antiquarian bookstores from countries such as Austria, Germany, France, Holland, and Portugal, and will offer the public the opportunity to acquire authentic bibliophile jewels, old books, medieval documents, manuscripts, engravings, maps and books of hours from the 15th to the 20th century.
