La Bella Varsovia was originally created by Alejandra Vanessa and Elena Medel and has been in operation for 17 years.

"We have grown up with the work of the poets in our catalog - poets from both sides of the pond of the Spanish language, translations, classics outside the conventional - celebrating new voices and established trajectories." Elena Medel also adds on Instagram and Twitter that they will maintain this intention and will expand without forgetting their fundamental ways: work with the language, focus on reality and special care for women's voices.
