Among the best-selling fiction books, Spanish authors continue to play a leading role. Of the ten best-selling books on this week's Publishnews - Nielsen Spain list, eight are by Spanish authors.
The historical novel and classics like “El árbol de la ciencia,” continue to appear prominently on our lists.
The Publishnews - Nielsen bestseller list for the week of October 28, once again shows a great role for fiction books in the publishing market. The billing is shared between the two large groups, Random House and Planeta, and the rest of the publishers in the most equitable way possible, as our graphs show.
To those that already appeared last week, is added “El italiano,” as number one, by Arturo Pérez Reverte. Also, and due to all the controversy that arose with the Planeta de Novela Award, “La novia gitana” (La novia gitana 1) and “La Nena” (La novia gitana 3), by Carmen Mola are also included on the list.
