The 39th edition of the trade show, which this year was held in Madrid, has received 8,360 visitors, an improvement in the initial expectations, bringing us ever closer to normal.
The book industry has secured the need for a Social Pact for reading which the Ministry has been willing to support.
More than 2,370 industry professionals are already part of the LIBER LIVE Connect community, a platform that has registered, to date, 21,000 visits, and 650 scheduled meetings. The 40th edition of the International Book Fair will be held in Barcelona from October 5-7, 2022.
Madrid, October 15, 2021. - LIBER, organized by IFEMA MADRID and the FGEE, closed the doors of its 39th edition last Friday with a satisfactory commercial balance, as has been stated by the vast majority of participating publishers. During the three days in which the show was held, which was inaugurated last Tuesday by the Minister of Education, Culture and Sports, Miquel Iceta, it has been confirmed as the main business platform in the book industry dedicated to publishing in Spanish language, and one of the most important international meetings.
