Of the ten best-selling books on this week's Publishnews - Nielsen Spain list, seven are by Spanish authors. Thrillers, historical, and classics like “El arbol de la ciencia,” are featured on our lists.

The Publishnews - Nielsen bestseller list for the week of October 3 shows an overwhelming role for fiction books on the publishing market. Sales are divided between the two largest groups Planeta and Random House, and the rest of the publishers, in the most equitable way possible, as our graphs show.

Among the best-selling fiction books, there is an overwhelming role for Spanish authors. To those that already appeared last week, we have added Carme Chaparro’s mystery novel “No decepciones a tu padre.”  “El arbol de la ciencia” is also among the best sellers of the week, probably due to school curriculum.
