Madrid-born Cristina Vatra (1980) makes her debut with the novel “El beso de Thor” (HarperCollins Ibérica), a breezy but no less serious novel.

The main character, Reina, encompasses all women who have ever had doubts and have felt alone and overwhelmed by the responsibility of making a brutal and controversial decision.
