The map of the Spanish edition of EDI-RED. Interview with Alberto Díaz

EDI-RED is a CSIC research group that addresses the cultural history of the Ibero-American publishing with its specifics and singularities. We publish their interviews to draw the map of the Spanish edition.

Today we share this interview with Emiliano Martínez (Santillana) thanks to the collaboration with EDI-RED. The Ibero-American Publishers and Publishers portal (XIX – XXI centuries) - EDI-RED aims to map the literary edition in Spanish, Catalan, Euskera/Basque and Galician, as well as Portuguese, from the 1800s to the present, either on paper or in digital format and from anywhere in the world.

This ambitious project focuses on the figure and on the work of editors, publishers, collections and literary consultants, from nineteenth-century boutique companies to the large groups that currently dominate the industry.

This website dedicates a specific space to Book Fairs and publishing spaces in Spain, the European Union and Latin America and, in addition, you can also watch video interviews with those responsible for the main Spanish and Latin American fairs (Madrid, Buenos Aires, Bogotá, Lima and FIL Guadalajara).
