The jury of the National Award, 'Miguel Hernández,’ for Literature in the category of Young Poetry, has nominated María Elena Higueruelo Illana to be awarded the National Prize for Young Poetry 'Miguel Hernández' 2021, for her work 'Los días eternos.'

The award, given by the Ministry of Culture and Sports, is endowed with 20,000 Euros.

The jury has chosen this work “for making a very personal tribute to memory and the effects of the passage of time, with a great balance and mastery of the poetic tradition. With unusual poetry elements: a very wise mix in its proportions between the deep thought of logic and letting the lyrics of intuition flow.”
