The writer Alexis Ravelo (Born in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, 1971) has won the 2021 Café Gijón Novel Prize for the work 'Los nombres prestados'. The novel will be published by the Siruela publishing house in January of next year.

‘Los nombres prestados,’ is, in the opinion of the jury, which has announced its ruling at the legendary Café Gijón in Madrid, "a novel about pain and guilt, about memory and redemption, a reflection on the gangrene that stalks every open wound.”
