EDI-RED is a CSIC research group that addresses the cultural history of the Ibero-American edition with its specificities and singularities. We retrieve their interviews to draw the map of the Spanish edition.
This ambitious project focuses on the figure and on the work of editors, publishers, collections and literary consultants, from nineteenth-century artisan companies to the large groups that currently dominate the global Spanish publishing industry.
Today we share this interview with Aldo García Arias, editor and bookseller of Antonio Machado, thanks to the collaboration with EDI-RED. The Ibero-American Publishers and Publishers portal (XIX – XXI centuries) - EDI-RED aims to map the literary edition in Spanish, Catalan, Euskera / Basque and Galician, as well as in Portuguese, from 1800 to the present, either on paper. or in digital format and in any geographic space.
