Penguin Random House dominates the list of best sellers of the week in Spain

In recent months we have become accustomed to the fact that the two major publishing groups, Penguin Random House and Planeta, maintain a certain balance in terms of the weekly turnover of the 200 best-selling titles of the week.

However, this week, Penguin Random House stands out and its sales account for 38% of sales on the Publishnews-Nielsen Spain best-seller list, compared to 27% for Grupo Planeta. The sum of the rest of publishers also passes over Planeta, representing 35%. However, Sira, by María Dueñas edited by Planeta, continues at number 1 in sales.

Regarding genres, fiction accounts for more than half of the turnover, followed by children's and young adults books (24.5%), school books (16%), and non-fiction (8.5%) .
