The direction of the Spanish editorial market of EDI-RED. Interview with Teresa García Martín

EDI-RED is a CSIC research group that addresses the cultural history of the Ibero-American edition with its aspects and singularities. We bring their interviews to draw the map of the Spanish editorial sector.

The Ibero-American Editors and Publishers portal (XIX – XXI centuries) - EDI-RED, aims to map the literary publishing in Spanish, Catalan, Euskera / Basque and Galician, as well as the  Portuguese, from 1800 to the present, either on paper or in digital format and in any geographic location. Today we bring Teresa García Martín, editor of Interfolio, a publisher specialized in real and imaginary travel literature.

This ambitious project focuses on the figure and on the work of editors, publishers, collections and literary consultants, from nineteenth-century artisan companies to the large groups that currently dominate the global Spanish publishing industry.
