This Thursday, August 5, the discussion entitled "Independent bookstores in Bogotá and Madrid: experiences and challenges in the face of the pandemic," will take place.
The event was organized by the Caro y Cuervo Institute, the Cervantes Institute and Fundalectura.
At this meeting the researcher from the Caro y Cuervo Institute, Paula Andrea Marín, will meet with the booksellers Santiago Aguirre from the Garabato bookstore in Bogotá and Marina Sanmartín from the Madrid bookstore Cervantes y Compañía, to discuss the situation of independent bookstores in Bogotá and Madrid after this year and a half of pandemic. The meeting will be virtual, through the Zoom platform at 12:00 noon in Bogotá and 7:00 p.m. in Madrid. To participate it is necessary to register, since access is limited to 100 participants.
