Fiction and large publishing groups regain dominance of the best-selling books of the week

After an atypical week in which a comic dominated the Publishnews-Nielsen Spain bestseller list, fiction and large publishing groups once again position themselves as the main turnover engines in the market.

Specifically, fiction books represent 47% of the list, and the turnover of Penguin Random House and Grupo Planeta accounts for 61.5% of the total turnover of the 200 best-selling books of the week in Spain. School books (17%), at this time the summer homework books continue to have a strong presence but are losing advantage in favor of children and young adults literature (27.5%)

Analyzing the general list we must highlight that Sira by María Dueñas, rises to the first position of the list; a list that has been dominated for several months by El humor de mi vida, by Paz Padilla.  That same list was briefly spearheaded by one of the volumes of the Batman/Fortnite saga: Zero Point, being the first comic to lead this list.
