The Ministry of Culture and Sports in Spain has given the Awards for the Best Published Books during 2020.

The Best Published Book Awards are intended to recognize and stimulate the work of publishers. The awards do not have a financial endowment, although they are highly valued by publishers for what they mean in recognition and prestige for their publishing work, as well as for the promotion that they entail, since the winning books will be exhibited later at the international book fairs LIBER, Frankfurt, and Leipzig. In these last two fairs, with a centuries-old bibliophile tradition, the exhibition "Best Book Design from all over the World" is shown, an international competition whose first edition began in the city of Leipzig in 1963 and for which each country sends the books that win their national contest each year. Following the exhibition of the books at both German fairs, the works will remain to be donated to the German Book and Type Museum in Leipzig.

The jury has evaluated 162 works in total, included in five genre groups.
