"Flor de arrabal" is the story of a woman’s self-improvement, who, being born in the slums of Zaragoza, is conquering the various audiences of half of Europe at a time full of turbulent events that are seen through the eyes of the artist.

Flor is a brave and feisty woman, dedicated to love and the stage. Carmen Santos has written this story in a sensitive manner and with a great narrative beat that offers us a mosaic of Europe in the first half of the last century. In the interview, she reveals to us some secrets about her book and invites us to immerse ourselves in the whirlwind of her new novel.

It is a trip to the most important theatrical stages of the early twentieth century. Starting with Zaragoza, the city where the protagonist of the novel was born and where the author has lived for some time.
