Argentine writer and publisher Juan Forn dies.

The Argentine writer and editor, Juan Forn, died last Sunday, June 21, at the age of 61 after suffering a heart attack.

Forn, who was born in Buenos Aires in 1959, published his first book, which was a poetry book, when he was only 20 years old. After traveling to Europe he began to work as a publisher, first in Emecé and later in Planeta, were he worked until 1995.

In 1996 Forn created Radar, the literary supplement to Página/12, where he worked for six years, in addition to working as a columnist for an Argentine newspaper.

As an author, he became known to the general public thanks to his book of stories Nadar de noche (Emecé, 1991). In 1994 he would receive a scholarship from the Woodrow Wilson International Center where he finished Frivolity (Planeta, 1995). Later he published Puras mentiras (Emecé, 2000); La tierra elegida (Emecé, 2005); María Domecq (Emecé, 2007) and Ningún hombre es una isla (Emecé, 2013).
