In a publication dedicated to the poet, is included the speech given by the Catalan poet in the private act in which he received the Cervantes Award from the hand of their Majesties.

The Ministry of Culture and Sports in Spain pays tribute to the figure of Joan Margarit, Cervantes Award 2019, by distributing in the coming days a publication dedicated to the poet that compiles some contributions that deal with his life and his work written by José Carlos Mainer and Jordi Gracia, as well as a presentation by the Minister of Culture and Sports, José Manuel Rodríguez Uribes.

The publication also includes the speech that the recently deceased poet wrote on the occasion of the award. In this text, which is offered in both, Spanish and Catalan, and is entitled My speech on the language, Margarit explains "the meaning that the simultaneous and in-depth use of two languages ??has on poetry."
