The writer David Hernández Sevillano won in the Literary Creation category and the illustrator Federico Delicado in the Illustrated Album category.
The Spanish Organization for Children and Young Adult Literature (OEPLI) announced last Thursday, May 13th, the winners of the Lazarillo 2020 Awards in its 61st edition, the most prestigious and independent awards for children and young adult literature and illustration in the four official languages ??of Spain.
At the ceremony held at the Eugenio Trías Library with limited capacity to comply with the COVID-19 protocol, the awards were presented to David Hernández Sevillano in the Literary Creation category and to Federico Delicado in the Illustrated Album category.
The 2020 Lazarillo Awards, endowed with 6,000 Euros for each category, have been sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and Sports and McDonald’s, within the framework of their Happy Meal Readers Program.
