San Antonio – The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities has announced its 35th Annual Conference, originally set to take place in Colorado, will be held in a virtual format, October 25-27, 2021, along with its pre- and post-conference events.
This marks the second year that the Annual Conference events are held virtually to ensure the well-being of everyone involved, in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
HACU’s Annual Conference under the theme “35 Years of Championing Hispanic Higher Education Success," will include three days of workshops under six tracks, featuring some of the best and most promising practices in the education of Hispanics and at Hispanic-Serving Institutions. The virtual conference will offer its regular lineup of events, and workshops, including a virtual exhibitor experience.
The !Adelante! Leadership Institute, the student track, offered in conjunction with the conference, will be held Oct. 24-27. Pre- and Post-conference events will be offered on alternate dates as follows: The 20th Latino Higher Education Leadership Institute, Oct. 20; the Seventh PreK-12/Higher Education Collaboration Symposium, Oct. 21; and the 10th Annual Deans’ Forum on Hispanic Higher Education, Oct. 28.
