Barcelona will celebrate Sant Jordi with many faces.

More than 490 stops throughout the city and 180 stalls selling books and roses in the adjoining spaces will celebrate San Jordi in Barcelona.

Sant Jordi will once again be enjoyed in the streets of Barcelona and it will do so with a great diversity of cultural activities in the ten districts of the city, following all current health protocols. It will be a day to walk again between stands of books and roses ? ten spaces have been assigned within the city with restricted capacity.  In addition, as this year the feast of the patron saint of Catalonia fell on Friday, there will also be many activities related to the day throughout the weekend. Bookstores and florists may have stalls in front of their establishments or in the closest possible space on April 21st, 22nd and 23rd.  Check out the program!

On the eve of Sant Jordi, the Reading Proclamation will take place at the Saló de Cent of the Barcelona City Town Hall. This year the person in charge of the proclamation is the writer from Zaragoza Irene Vallejo, author of the hit ‘El infinito en un junco’ from Siruela Publishing.
