“How and when did you get the idea to write this book?”

MAC: “I have always been interested in this vital stage. I don't know exactly where this interest comes from. Perhaps because I had a very good relationship with my grandparents, mainly with my paternal grandfather, who appears in many of my books in a more literary way. I dedicated the book ‘Los bolsillos de mi abuelo’ (My Grandfather's Pockets) to him. There are other older people in my books as well, but I have never discussed the subject exclusively. I thought about it as a result of teaching courses to adults and, specifically, emotional Capabilties for Seniors.
